Oh boy, where to start? I'm going to give a little spoiler here and just say that they saved our wedding, but I'm getting ahead of myself.
We found out about Wedman quite by accident, we were browsing Google about one of their large competitor's (who we'll leave anonymous) but after calling the
famous competitor and getting rather cold treatment, including a demand to put down money already just for a meeting and saying that the budget I offered for the wedding was much to little and we should double it, we were quite hesitant even after reading the supposedly good reviews. Instead, while still Googling on the subject, we came across Wedman and decided to check them out. After reading some reviews we decided to give them a call and see how it goes. What a difference, on the first call there was no pressure and even before asking for a meeting, they were very open about how they work and also answered some questions I had regarding the wedding itself (again, this is before any commitment). We decided to set up a meeting and met with Itamar, and immediately the calm and professional demeanor of the staff was clear to see. After explaining our budget concerns and our particulars regarding the event, we didn't get any hesitation, rather Itamar got to work straight away and started creating for us a wedding budget list even before we signed! After we left the meeting, my future wife turned to me and said "this is the place". We then immediately received the budget and contract by email (all being very fair), and even though we were a bit hesitant given our limited budget, we decided that it would be a good idea to pay for Wedman and go with them.
After we signed, we then got Shani from Wedman to help us directly with the wedding. Now again, I'm getting ahead of myself, but she's absolutely amazing and totally saved our wedding at several points of disaster. So we received her number and from that point were directly in touch with her, and she always had terrific suggestions and really helped us find the wedding venue (which we never heard of before her, even in Google searches) that we ended up taking (Port 15), and they made quite a good team. She always answered all our questions, helped with all the negotiations with the suppliers, and found nearly all the suppliers we ended up using, and in the end we ended up saving through her negotiations more than we paid for Wedman themselves! We would've been already satisfied at that point, but then came the wedding. On the wedding day, everything was going perfect until... I forgot the rings in the hotel and my suit ripped, literally 20 minutes before I was supposed to walk down the aisle! Needless to say, I and my future-wife became a bit panicked, but Shani was there to save the day. She called my friend and the hotel and arranged between them for the rings to be picked up and delivered, and while doing that whipped out a sewing kit (!) and sat down and started sewing my suit jacket while still on the phone arranging everything. Incredibly, she managed to sew my jacket and have the rings delivered in time for me to walk down the aisle, with almost no one else the wiser as to what just happened. She briefed us on exactly we need to do for the chuppa, and really relaxed us. The rest of the wedding continued like clockwork and everything went absolutely perfect. I noticed Shani in the background time to time running around non-stop making sure everything was going according to plan, and she even made sure the entire wedding that I and the bride were drinking (water ;) ) and eating despite us dancing and what-not. At the end, she delivered the checks and cash to all the suppliers exactly has planned, and also had the people that came accounted for. She even wanted to order us the taxi to the hotel, and she stayed with us till the last minute despite having a flight the next day!
All in all, I honestly cannot say enough good things. If anyone has any hesitation regarding whether to choose Wedman or some other service, please just consider this. Your wedding happens only once and things are bound to happen that you can't predict no matter how much you plan (and we planned a lot on our own), don't you want the best team surrounding you and helping you through all of it? I honestly missed a lot of other things Wedman (and Shani) did to help us throughout the months leading up to the wedding and the wedding itself, but I don't think anyone would want to read through such a wall of text. So my final words are this: If our satisfaction level of Wedman was rated on a 1-10 scale, they would score an 11. I would not hesitate to tell anyone getting married that they need Wedman in it, and I wish them the greatest success in the future because they truly deserve it!
